Role:

 We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven CTO with experience in inventory management software, ERP, and AI/ML work. Must have 5-10 years experience in management roles at startup companies and strong technical background. The role presents an opportunity to definitively shape the future of the food supply chain at a growing tech company and help lead a diverse and talented group of scientists, engineers, and thinkers.

R&D Team Lead

Biochemistry

Role:

We are looking for an ambitious lab team lead to help bridge R&D efforts with broader business goals. This role presents the opportunity to grow into a VP position at a fast-paced, accelerating tech company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Management
    Set quarterly R&D objectives and key results
    Compile weekly R&D meetings and results
    Manage R&D efforts in the context of business goals
    As a part of an interdisciplinary team, participate in idea brainstorming, research strategizing, method development for device engineering (e.g., protein incorporation into artificial lipid bilayers, protein/peptide immobilization on electrodes, etc.)
    Train technical assistants and other team members to perform general lab duties and experimental procedures

R&D
    Develop and optimize recombinant protein purification procedures
    Produce laboratory-scale purified protein batches for electrochemical experiments
    Organize and log purified protein samples
    Plan, perform and analyze enzymatic assays
    Write and edit protocols and SOPs
    Collaborate with electrochemical scientists to design, make and test protein-coated electrodes

Qualifications:

    PhD in biochemistry and 2+ years’ experience in protein purification and characterization (academia or industry)
    MS in biochemistry and 5+ years’ experience in protein purification and characterization in industry settings
    Experience in structural protein biology is a plus

Product Manager

US Specialty Crops Packing & Storage

Role

‍We are looking for a Product Manager to operate and grow our supplier business while vigorously building and defending our stellar reputation for quality.
We install proprietary sensors that predict produce maturity to help the world’s largest fruit producers reduce food waste and maintain high quality– primarily at the supplier level in CA Storage (Controlled Atmosphere) & Packing.
In this role, we need someone who is driven by taking ownership and making a large impact. This role is responsible for flawless execution and integrity in both technical and customer aspects and is responsible for the business’s success as a whole.

Responsibilities Include

Ensure customer success by creating and managing our service model to the 50 largest fruit growers in the United States.
Create scalable hardware install and service plans to service 50% of US apple controlled atmosphere rooms.
Design and execute go to market strategies including direct selling and developing partnerships.
Manage team of data analysts and installers to execute various aspects of the business.
Provide guidance on product direction for both hardware and software aspects of our product.
Take ownership over the execution and success of all aspects of the business.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as business, marketing, operations, postharvest technology, etc.
Experience in product management, sales or account management, operations, logistics and/or project management.
Domain / industry knowledge preferred. Agriculture or post-harvest industry preferred but not required.
Experience in technical enterprise B2B sales preferred. Strong attention to detail and desire to understand things in great depth.
Experience in data analysis and interpretation.

We’re looking for a highly ambitious and credible Retail Business Development Lead with industry experience and connections in retail produce technology sales to help us grow and develop an innovative, science-based solution.

We are looking for an ambitious full stack developer with 5-10 years of experience to help build and maintain our product offerings as well as manage a small team of developers. Previous experience with leading and devising technical strategy for small teams + startups is preferred.

Position Summary

We are looking for a designer who is passionate about creating digital products whose function and design align to provide the best modern user experiences possible. The ideal candidate for the role has experience designing for technical and non-technical users alike, targeting the web and mobile, and assembling a product ecosystem.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable leading user research and getting user feedback in formal and informal ways. It is essential that this person can lead research and communicate their findings to the rest of the team.
Additionally, this role oversees brand identity development through company website, template and pitch deck design.

Responsibilities
